Great Trailers Thread

Say what you want about the Watchman film, but it does have some really, really good stuff.
The Bob Dylan credit montage, Dr. Manhattan's voice, the soundtrack, the casting...
I thought its only real major flaw was how stylized it felt, but that's Snyder's thing. If he does stylized better than realistically gritty then maybe it's good he didn't try doing something he's not good at.
Every movie can't be The Dark Knight.

Sure, Watchman included a great number of individually well-executed and successful elements that did not integrate into any particular kind of pleasing whole.

YMMV.

Here's a great one. Carlito's Way, I love how it transitions at the 23sec mark. Not only a great trailer but a even better film.

I'm going to have to agree. I've always said that a bunch of good parts don't necessarily equal a good whole. Not for me, anyway. I really wanted to like the Watchmen, but after seeing it a second time in theaters, and again months later on blu-ray, it just got worse and worse every time I saw it, as opposed to some films that get better every time you see them. And that Zack Snyder...boy does he love slow motion/speed ramping. He probably wouldn't have had to cut a lot of stuff out if he hadn't shot so much slow motion. Anway...end Watchmen diatribe.

Trailers!

I really love the trailer for You Wont Miss Me. watch

Here's a cool one for I'M NOT THERE.

This is so great. I'm usually against the quick cuts but for some reason it works so well here, coupled with that music, I would say it's almost flawless as a teaser trailer. But without that great music I don't think it would be that special.
