Howdy!
Just found one of the most useful FS7 Blog / Hints / Reviews I think available
short of Doug Jensen's complete course.

Way down the page seems to be a wonderfully simple solution to the Hand Grip situation.
After reading of all the custom rosette machining woes posted in numerous threads here to modify
the hand grip to be more comfortable and usable, here's a simple unexpected solution...
Instead of shortening the arm, lengthen it using a long Wooden Camera Rosette Arm!
Although the photo doesn't really do it justice, click instead on the video next to it to see how
the hand grip can be swung up right next to the camera body ENG style. Personally I can't wait to try it.
In fact I'd like to thank Jem Schofield for his wonderful article full of lots of great FS7 information!
A Tale of Two Cameras (Spoiler Alert: They're Both the Sony FS7)

Great Cine EI exposure info too!
Best Wishes!
