I stumbled across this site while looking for doorway dolly plans. The problem was that eveywhere I looked, they tried to charge me for them! (I mean, if your gonna offer Guerilla advice, shouldn't it be free ;)) Anyways, its a pretty cool site with lots of color pics and advice on how to build your own equipment. CHECK IT OUT!!

I like how he suggests the $14 steadicam is too expensive, he suggests to use your tripod folded up and hold it at the center of gravity; clever...

Great site, thanks for the link.

I really liked the list "what is in my tote" - very helpful.

Re: Great Guerilla Filmmaking Guides for FREE!

hey, thanks ya'll. I'm glad to help out other micro budget filmmakers. I just wish I had the time (and patience) to do more regular updates (alas website building doesn't come as easy to me). Any questions or comments, just email.

I was wondering where the web traffic spike was coming from :)

all the best,
joren

Did anyone watch any of the film projects on the page? It looks like those two are really "doin it" on the film "The Wallet". Thought it was pretty funny.

The first line of the camera boom site:

"My first boom was made from a "No Parking" sign mowed over by some drunk down the street from a bar..."

:D

Re: Great Guerilla Filmmaking Guides for FREE!

his idea of integrating christmass lights in night scenes is just ridiculous.
