I recommend GGvideo for your shopping pleasure. They were one of the lowest priced for a Vinten tripod and, unlike others that wanted me to wait a month, they had it shipped from the manufacturer on the day I ordered it.

It was also such a pleasant phone call that I placed the order even tho I really didn't plan to...I was only calling about availability. Mike, the salesman, was so friendly and helpful, I just wanted to do biz with him.

Which Vinten did you end up getting? Let us know how you like it once you get it.

I got the Vision 3, really the only Vision that works with a DVX-weight camera. Should come by early next week. Will post.
