graphics card

[nantnee]

I've been to avids website with compatible GC. I'm unable to find video cards for the mac with atleast 3 outputs. 3 dvi ouputs would be ideal, but with MC3, it says in the requirements 8800gt, which only has 2 dvi outputs. Is this the ONLY video card. Or am I not looking in the right places?

EDIT:

I have found some threads regarding the graphics card. Mostly due to USLatins thread.
Here are my specs for a future computer i'll have (hopefully soon)

Mac Pro:

Two 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
16gb of memory
Graphics Card - undecided
3ware Raid Setup - hopefully

Is this setup better/worse for HDV/AVCHD editing?

Is the on board audio card good enough for avid?

[nantnee]

anybody?

Why are you looking for 3 outputs form graphics card?

Btw. avid don't support avchd for edit.

I have two monitors with my setup now, and i wanted to use 2 monitors and my HDTV.

I did not know it wasnt supported. Thanks

Matrox apve

Matrox apve

Does that work with Mac's?

I think I've decided on this Matrox DualHead2GO. Outputs 1920x1200 for two monitors leaving me with another DVI output to my HDTV.

EDIT:

The Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital Edition is the way to go.
