The short is complete,

THE DARK, ANIME STYLE LIVING COMIC BOOK "THE CORRUPTED" IS ONLINE NOW AT THE ADDRESS BELOW.

THE FILM WAS AN EXERCISE IN FILM MAKING BY ACTION DIRECTOR
R.L. SCOTT. IT WAS CREATED WITH NO SCRIPT, AND NO PREP TIME. EVERYTHING YOU SEE WAS CREATED ON THE SET AT THE TIME OF FILMING. THE GOAL WAS TO CREATE A VIABLE GRAPHIC NOVEL STYLE ACTION SHORT, WITH NO WORDS. ALL OF THE ACTION, DRAMA AND STORYTELLING IS DONE THROUGH PHYSICALITY. ENJOY THE SHOW.

" The Corrupted " tells the story of a lone Cop who's entire unit turns to crime. he refuses to join them, and threatens to blow the lid on their pending deal with the city's most notorious crimeboss... but before he can, his fellow officers track him down, put a bullet in his chest and kidnap his girlfriend.

He doesn't die, and goes on a quest to get her back. the short will be presented as a living graphic novel and be filed with blazing gun battles, fast and furious fight sequences, and an original musical score.

Did BUTTERFLY AND SWORD, your credited work on your personal site, derive from COMET, BUTTERFLY and SWORD? I remember that movie.

It's a totally different concept, the lead male in the script is a swordsman, and the lead female in the script has a birthmark shaped like a butterfly. it is sort of like an egyptian action epic/ love story.

yeah, as it is a graphic novel inspired short, it's not supposed to feel real... everything is done in a cartoon fashion
