Grading on a LED tv?

Is there anything gained or lost grading on a LED tv, or is LCD/old school-TUBE/PLASMA best?

Any input is good. I guess an oldschool tube wouldn have hi def.

Important pieces of information would be:

what platform and NLE?

what codec you are working with?

what output you are working with, ie dvi, component, firewire.

Matrox MXO series is one thing to consider.

Remember, how you output the video to the monitor is important on what color representation you will. Only certain output devices provide accurate color.
