grabs from sec shot, of my short

well, the sec shot got rained out so i didn't get much of anything but nothing was really going well. unlike the first shot i used no lights and i wasn't pleased with the look i got, and i noticed something else when i shot in 24p it looks a littel jumpy is there anything i can do to help this.......please i need some advice.

It would of looked alot better if you shot the street after it rained. You didn't shoot this 30i did you?

as far as i know they were shot in 24p there was a couple of shots thats i was tryin different stuff with, im not possitve. an the rain wasn't much, just enough for us to break down and get out of there and it stopped raining and by this time it was about 1am an everyone had enough.

its been one of those nights. i just realized that i never did white balance this could be the problem.

You definitely need to boost the contrast in post. The blacks aren't black.

If you've ever seen the Japanese film Akarui Mirai/Bright Future, the shots remind me a lot of this. The grain actually works, to a certain degree, but definitely fix those blacks. The first shot is better, as wides will always look more film-like, try some sort of lighting on the figure in the second shot. Even if it's blocking shots so he's walking under streetlamps or something.
