grabs from play piercing shoot

I'm putting these up for feedback. They are grabs from a recently shot play piercing training film. They were shot in a dungeon using three photography lights. I'm very squeamish when it comes to needles so it's quite difficult to edit the footage and was also hard to shoot

ahhh, reminds me of my grandma's quilting circle.

Seriously, those shots look great, the lighting seems to totally fit the mood/set. I dont know how you ever got it shot. Were you locked down on a tripod? My hands would have been shaking so bad, it would have been a waste of tape.

Like I said...It hurts to edit this material and what you are seeing in these few grabs doesn't do it justice (the pain involved with watching). The whole point of this excercise for me was to see what the camera could do with lights and wether or not I could successfuly light this piece, and I was impressed enough to commit to a short that I'm scripting and casting at the moment. I will chuck a few more grabs up from other parts of the tape soon. It was all shot handheld by Rod Matheson the human tripod. I will be using him for the short as I've never seen hand held camera so steady anywhere. I'll post some clips later so you can see his camera technique even in an ecu environment.

Here is a small sample of the handheld camera work thatwas steady enough throughout to not insist on any lockdown shots. This is raw footage with obviouse audio problems and no cc
