Hi guys!

Some friends and I have just started a "filmgroup".
Our plan is to make short and full lenght movies with a professional feel.

As our first project we got a request to make a 4 - 5 min short movie about "choice".
That was about it... That was what we got to work with.. It's supposed to be finished in about a month. And we've almost finished writing the manuscript.

It's about a 16 year old boy who makes a lot of wrong choices.. and at last he sort of realizes it... very cliché, but you know.. it works.. hehe

It loos nice tommetass, but though i would encourage you to go further if you comment your own work as cliche. Do what you like to do, you don't have to follow the "terms".

And it's just that the theme "choice" is very cliche.. But the way we will make the movie will be more "original":P
 
Oh, Ok. I misunderstood your post , I thought you were going to make it cliched on purpose :)
A lot of theme's in good movies actually are cliched, for instance "the english patient"(sacrifice everything for that one true love...), but the fine craft is all in the details and the fill of the story.
So I bet you can turn out the theme to something cool.
