Grabs from my second short: "THE WAY TO LOVE"

This is my first time using a 35mm adapter, which was the RNG35 with a 50mm f1.8 Nikon lens. To tell the truth my focusing was awful, I guess it's something I'll have to work on. ANY TIPS???

The short is about a young man that stares at himself long and hard in a mirror, recalling good and bad times with his ex, to "show his love" he makes a drastic decision that leads to more than heartbreak.

Here are some stills (no cc), and I doubt I'll ever show the short, because of poor focusing in production:

Mmmm yeah....it is quite soft....The last grab is the sharpest, but it's overexposed - unless you were gunning for that look. Anyway, unless you get a monitor, I've got a good tip on how to get better focus with adaptors. Normally you wouldn't be zoomed in fully with an adaptor on the camera....maybe you'll be at around Z70. When i focus i try to zoom in to Z99 for a bit to check my focus, then zoom back out to Z70. Of course, this only works well for static shots....for moving shots you'll either need to get a monitor, stop down your lens, or do it old school with measuring tape and placing marks on your set.
