Grabs from high school western

My video class at school (6 people) is working with our drama dept and the farm that's across the street that has a small western set to shoot a short.

I'm shooting it with my DVX100B (which I got last Thursday) and thought I'd post some grabs, see if anybody had any thoughts for improvement.

Today was the first day of production, using ambient light with some bounce cards. There's a big window in front of them.

There's some blowout in the door on #4, but I shot one tighter if it looks too bad.

Lucky, I wish I had access to a western set. Nice pics although #4 does have quite a bit of blowout, maybe use the zebra next time. So what's the story?

Maybe zoom in on the faces, all the shots seem to wide, and also try different angles like from the ground or having two people at an angle in a close shot.

Oh man this looks like it could be great. That set is amazing! Remember to post up some footage when you can. I'd love to see this in action.

Interesting how much the door is bent vertically in shot 4 - not a true aspehrical lens. Good to know.
