Looks really good. I had to actually scroll back up to see if this was in the HVX or DVX screengrabs section. Nice work.
 
Thanks for the compliments guys. This is the first project I tackled using the 100b. I'm in the process of scoring this one and will do 2 more over the Fall. Stay tuned & don't look in the mirror!

Trust me, i think me and that man suffer from the same problem. Except when i look in the mirror, i see something far more foul.

do you mind talking about your lighting setup for when hes sitting infront of the mirror?

Lol! You guys would laugh if you knew what I used this time around. Trust me, I have the professional lighting kit etc etc etc...I used simple 'clip on lighting' The kind Home depot sells with regular GE soft lights. One was on top of the mirror (Visible), another was to his left and another behind him pointing upwards on his back. What I love about the clip lights is I can have an assistant just out of frame holding the light close to the actor with a 15 watt bulb and a dimmer and it looks great. I usually don't go over 25 watts. Simple! Oh, the room was darkened with black cloth over all windows and it was hot in there, at least 100+! Funny but when I use this lighting set up I get lot's of compliments. AFterall, this business we're in is all 'illusion' and it doesn't matter what you use, it matters what ends up on the screen and the impact it carries. Thanks again...

More great looking grabs mate! you know my stance on clowns but the lighting looks really good in the grabs. I especially like the bottom right one - very very professional. Hope the final product turns out well!
 
hi.. in that second post... how did you acheive that blue? Was it just a blue gell on the light and if so what kind of Gell? cheers!

Probably achieved with a cool color temperature setting done in-camera (or in post possibly).
