Grabbing a Frame

How do you guys go about extracting a frame from the movie? I know you can go to file--export-- frame. But its all blurry and stuff. How do you go about doing this?

File Export > .BMP High Quality > square pixels (1.0) Heres the result, not blurry at all.

I usually export tiff's because its a raw file with no compression. You also have to scroll through your frames, if there is quick motion happening then you will not likely get a clear still.

Is it blurry cuz its interlaced? is that what you are referring to? If i tape in 60i and have to pull a frame out, I import to photoshop and apply the deinterlace effect, then save the pic.

I have found that simply 'print Screening' then pasting the whole screen into phototshop and saving as a .bmp yeilds the clearest, shapest image. Te only drawback is that you have to manually crop the frame from the rest of the screen-grab, but who cares if it looks better right?

Anyone else do the same?

Interesting InvisionProductions. Anyone else do it differently?

This is the only way to do it with PPro2. It should look as good as the frame image and is dependent on the original material and the project setting. It will neither enhance or degrade the original.
