Grab from Autocross

Okay so I don't own a DVX100, but instead a DVC30.

I've been noticing that many of the screen grabs posted here by the DVX100 users look fantastically sharp. Is that how the quality is at 24p? If they didn't shoot in progressive scan mode, would the quality look similar to mine?

Here's a grab from my DVC30 using the non-frame mode. I used photoshop to de-interlace the clip, otherwise you'd see some horizontal lines.

Nope, it's one of the participant's there. It's an BMW E34 M5; old school, but nonetheless a wicked ride!

progressive certainly is sharper than interlaced in a screenshot. especially on sppedy moevements the interlaced lines will be a problem.
