yeah they are a bit grainy, especially five. I was messing with the exposure to try and get a silhouette effect for some shots, and I guess I underexposed some of the other stuff. It's not quite as bad in the footage as in the grabs, and I kind of like it to an extent. As far as a story, it was just a, hey let's make blood and go into the woods, kind of thing, so there's not much of a plot, but maybe I will try and post the film. The second grab is supposed to be some kind of predator vision of some creature looking down at the guy. It was the scariest thing of my life to film, cause I was sitting in this tree with my dvx in one hand and a bottle of blood in the other and dripping blood onto the guys face. Passing the camera up and down was definately not cool, so I think no more tree climbing with my dvx is a good idea. lol. and also, the radial blur effect on that shot was done out of necessity, because my foot was in the bottom left corner of the screen, and I had to hide it somehow.
how does one go about correcting grain? Some kind of blurring effect? I have vegas 6.0. Monte, your modification is a neat effect but doesn't look any less grainy to me.
