Got my new matte box...but wondering best way to pack it for travel.

Love my new matte box for my EX3 but...wondering how others pack and store theirs when they travel.

I'm thinking of getting a pelican case all it's own for the box.

Is that overkill?

I'm one who has a reputation of taking care of my gear so it will last...so I don't mind spending extra to keep something in good shape.

However figured some here might have other options that I hadn't thought of.

FWIW...this box is nice and light but I've got a set of rods and mounts coming in a couple of weeks to make sure it has better support. ;)

I have a Arri MMB matte box and I've been looking at a lighter-weight SKB plastic case. It's not quite as strong as a Pelican but it's also not as heavy. I'm using them presently to transport my Sennheiser wireless sets and I think they'd be perfect for your matte box.
 
Thanks for the thoughts Dave.

I don't like to spend money where I don't have to, yet balance that with my need to keep my gear in the best shape possible after the airline folk have had a chance to play "toss the bag" with my cases. I've found some Pelican look-a-likes...but...I'll keep looking.
