...still drooling on it!!!

Started reading Barry's book and can't keep it out of my hands.

Got it from Spec-Comm, so shout out to them. Sent them a cashier check on Friday(overnite) and the camera and a few other accessories were here Wednesday!!! Great, friendly, personal service.

Going to go buy a case or bag for it tomorrow...any suggestion?

i've really been thinking about just getting the 200a instead of the 170.. so enticing! the footage looks soo much cleaner than the 200.

Congrats! I got mine from Specc a couple of months ago...weather is turning out fantastic for this weekend....we are heading up to Talkeetna (Alaska) to shoot some footage of McKinley this weekend! Can't wait...what an incredible purchase, you'll love it for years.

Mine is so new, and me to the camera, I damn near pulled off the top of the view finder last night trying to figure out how to see through it:), Shut the LCD and it comes to life (I didn't pull too hard)....but this is my first foray into the Pro(kinda)sumer, more Pro though, market. From handhelds. I have filled two 1TB drives with Alaskan footage over the last two months! I will be playing with FCP all winter!

Congrats on your purchase!

Jeremy

Congratulations, to bad this camera is hardly purchaseable in Sweden, and costs twice as much, minimum :(

I will be looking forward to see the footage!:)
