Got my HMC40: test footage

Might be helpful for someone considering the HMC40 like I was 2 weeks ago. This kind of footage helped me decide.
I grab my cam and went down the street for a couple hours.
1080 / 24p
Manual settings most of the time.
No color correction in the editing process.
Trying to cover outdoor and indoor shots. Different lighting conditions.....

Man youtube sucks for 1080P...it skips like crazy or takes forever to load.

What I saw I loved. Especially since you said you did nothing special during shooting or in post - video wise. Looks great. Getting mine tomorrow!!!

Thanks! I was also very surprised by the results. Once again no lighting, no tripod, no color correction.... You'll have fun with your cam.

There are a few for sale on Los Angeles Craigslist (http://losangeles.craigslist.org/search/?areaID=7&subAreaID=&query=hmc40&catAbb=sss). This is where I bought mine for $1,000 (minus lens cover, remote and and some cables. But all god for me)

Unfortunately I am not very technical when it comes to all that stuff (working on it though!). I work with what looks good! But what I do I set to manual, then set the shutter speed and then "play" with the iris wheel until I get what I like...
