Got my DVX100a rebate, no tape or goodies, though.

I bought a DVX in November. I got the Rebate in late December, but so far no sign of the battery or tapes. What gives? Anyone got their battery and tapes yet? Thanks.

It will takes a few months after you get your rebate.... Patience, you'll get it.

I got my tapes and battery months after I bought the camera... that was a nice surprise since I bought the camera the day before the new rebate happen...

Same boat here... I figure the money comes from a rebate fulfillment center, but the tapes and battery come directly from Panasonic, so it'll take longer.

I didn't know it came with Dvrack. I though it was the magic bullet SW

I submitted my rebate in mid October, and received my check in December, but no sign of the batteries or tapes.
Why do rebates take so painfully long? I mean, really? Is it too intentionally make them feel like they're not worth it?
I know this isn't isolated to Panasonic, but still... if anyone out there knows the logic behind it taking a minimum of four months to fulfill rebate promises, please let me know.
