Like I said, I have a few dvx-virgin questions for you all. It's probably in the manual and I'm probably overlooking it. Hopefully I'll get the DVX book soon and won't have to ask too many more questions. So..

How can I switch from 30p (standard recording format out of the box i'm guessing?) to 60i, to 24p/pa easily?

I know it has to do with the scene file dial, but which ones are which? i can't find it in the manual anywhere.

Well that's all off the top of my head, any veteran dvxuser guidelines to go by are always helpful, too. Thanks.

Any of the scene files can be set to any frame rate. You just hit menu >Scene File and change the frame rate to the one you want to use.

that's probably right. can anyone clarify? any more suggestions? i can't wait to shoot tomorrow.

thanks, horsefilms.

i shot some skate stuff in 60i so that i could slow-mo it. but when i captured it in final cut, it came out all jagged with strong horizontal lines.
so after some research i tried de-interlacing it and it helped a little, but not entirely.

can someone give me some de-interlacing tips?
