I have a 2nd cut of a short that I am editing and would appreciate your opinion. I would like to know your initial thoughts and crutiques. This is of course without titles or music. I also apologize for the quality, it's 8 min long and I had to keep it under 100 megs. I know it doesn't show off the HVX and the Letus but first things first.

I thought it was pretty good actually! The acting was great! It made it seem good without any music or additional audio at all.

Great job on it. Despite the relatively boring subject matter, I couldn't help but keep watching. Image quality looks good, what did you do for colour correction? The simple composition and editing suits it nicely. Only thing that bothers me is that the dialogue is planned to the left.
 
I use Avid and the color correction works very well. I increased the contrast and actually decreased the saturation. The High Def picture was very vibrant so I pulled it down a bit.

You'll have to excuse me but I don't know what that means.

The dialogue was coming from the left side only, while the background ambiance came from both channels.
 
I thought it was some political term I wasn't aware of, lol. I'll check that out and make sure the audio is alright.
