Is there a way to only record audio from the GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition? I want to essentially use it as a small audio recorder with an attached lav but ideally it wouldn't even waste battery live and memory on video.
If I can't disable video, is there a way to maximize battery life? Would recording at a lower resolution waste less battery? Would that effect sound quality at all?
