google maps

[Jarred Land]

hey.. i incorporated google maps into the new upgrade.. you can see it on the top navbar or here http://www.dvxuser.com/V3/VBGooglemap.php

should be good to find people near you for work or play.

[Isaac_Brody]

Sweet dude.

[profnoxin]

Sweet. Beats my original posted idea of getting a member to start tattooing the map on their back.... kinda.

Edit ~> I have now placed my thumbtack. How close I got to the actual location of my apartment is creepy.

[Rich Lee]

will this be linked to a persons profile? will this be searchable? can we add photos and other info to the entry? when i click the persons name on the tab it takes me to the dvxuser.com homepage...

It's incredible.

I can actually see the satellite photos of my crummy condo.

I'm not even gonna check out Jarred's place. It's probably a mansion with a swimming pool.

[Terry_Lasater]

My coordinates have been logged.

[Shawn Murphy]

greatly appreciated! Seattle (actually the neighboorhood of Ballard!), now has representation.

[Jarred Land]

wont be searchable.. but you can just zoom in on your area and there you go.

im gonna try and make it so you can just enter your Zip code instead of manually finding it, and i will try and make it link to your userid.

[Daniel Skubal]

That's really nifty, Jarred!

[Noel Evans]

Yeah nice work.... good to see a map and peoples locales. The map shows me way over in Japan on my own at the moment... Hopefully there may be at least one other DVXUser member in Tokyo.

[Chris Messineo]

I'm in.

[HorseFilms]

That's too cool. I'm on it.

[mikkowilson]

I just added my mark. Wow that is a cool function.

[mikkowilson]

Hmm...

[Shaw]

Nice feature

Will these entries be editable?

[Joe_Kras]

Got mine in (and Beat MattinSTL to the punch!)

[Matt Grunau]

 Can't get mine to show up. Damn.

[kai]

Done and done.

[Terry_Lasater]

When I first recorded my entry, I didn't zoom in enough and was off by about 3/4 of a mile. I was able to go back and reset it to a more precise location.
