Good shoulder mount for HVX

Let me ditto the DVRig Pro. I tested a pre-production model in July (in fact, I'm even pictured in some of the shots on the web site) and have nothing but superlatives to say about it. It is compact yet sturdy; it is versatile; it is almost infinitely adjustable.

Just did a 10day pilot on the amazon in Peru with the Spiderbrace. Works well for the Price. the only thing that you have to be cautious of is keeping the horizon level because u have to bend your head to the right all day in order to look through the eyepeice. Plus you can stick the support bar under your armpit and get a pretty steadi shot for a lower angle as well. Sitting it on the ground is fun too.

I added a varizoom and monfrotto plate to it. zooming in and out was easy and taking it on and off with the plate saved valuable seconds when shooting documentary style.

We used three of the DV Rig Pros for a week long sitcom pilot shoot. All handheld, all day long for a week. The DV Rig Pro is pretty cool and worked very well. The waist mounted pogo stick is they key, it really helps. We had HVX-200s, matte boxes, filters, follow focuses, microwave video transmitters, wireless mics, the works.

The Spiderbrace looks good but I have never tried it.

Actually, that was the new DV MultiRig that I tested and whose praises I sang.

Meanwhile, I have owned a DVRIG Pro for some time and it works great with the HVX.

I'm six foot seven, like Jarred. Will this DV Rig work for someone with a torso that's longer than a Range Rover?
