Good Price? DVX100A Factory Referb $2495

and ask for details. when you call them you might find out they charge you $500 for the manual, and its not an option.

If thats the deal thats on ebay right now, the 2495 + 2yr mack warranty, I'd go for it. I bought the same thing last week from those guys and got it super fast. When I called, no one tried to sell me any extras and they were pretty helpful. Also, it came in a factory sealed box from Panasonic with all the accessories and camera wrapped as new. On the bottom there was a sticker saying that it was refurb and has a 90 day warranty, plus I got the mack 2 yr with the deal. The meter read 0 hours on the heads (but thats probably panasonic could easily reset). Overall, I am extremely happy with the transaction and everything seems to be working perfectly.

Awesome, that was the one I was looking at! Does this deal appear every week or so through that ebay reseller?

This is in the wrong area... But

Just do some research on who you buy from - LOTS of research! Way too easy to get pooed over.

It's a big investment so be careful and shop around....

Good place to start:

Actually, I have compiled a list of all the "gray market" ( I would say shady scam sites! ) that I found on a quest for a decently priced DVX100A or B. Is there some place that I should post the listing of these venders to avoid?

I definitely dont want to be a negative nell here but the word "refurbished" scares the hell out of me. It implies that it was a jinx right from the start. If it needed to be refurbished in the first place, whats to say there aren't going to be other electrical issues. I think I would feel much better buying used that was never refurbished. But, I might be in a minority here....
