Good people of EVS

When EVS send Barry Book, and the magic bullet...would it come extra box or inside the camera Box. . The reason I am asking is that outside the box of my DVX is a sticker sign that said, " This box has been open to insert the software and Book DVD”. Outside the box of my camera also has a postage sticker that was rib off .I could only read World express, inc...and it look someone was hiding the bar code...The FedEx Guy who deliver my DVX said the box was ship from somewhere before

I had the camera a week and not used it yet at all...this whole thing make me nervous. As I can't afford extensive repair and headache. I am also in Canada, which makes the whole process more difficult. I was told the camera will have seal Panasonic sticker on the box and it did not. Anyway, I trust the good people of EVS.. please share your thoughts on what to do. Did you have similar experience?

Thanks Tommy for helping me get the camera

If you bought from EVS you're fine, although my DVX was shipped inside of a seperate box. Call them up and verify it, they are nice folks.

If you have opened it up, take the serial number from under the viewfinder and put it in the rebate form online (below). If it processes normaly, you have a legit USA warranty cam. If not-definately call EVS.

All USA DVX's get opened at the Panasonic warehouse to have the DVX Book/DVD and the Magic Bullet Editors software inserted in them. This is something done by Panasonic. Panasonic Japan ships the cameras to the USA warehouse, and the USA Panasonic employees open every box to put the freebie items in, then they seal the boxes again and ship them to their dealers.

That is correct, and the shipping label is from Panasonic USA warehouse to us here. Every camera box on the pallet from them gets a Fedex sticker, in addition to the sticker from Japan to them. All is well.
