Good hard cases?

What are some good hard cases I can buy? I was looking at the metal hard one for over $300 bucks.

Are there any other brands out there besides Panasonic? Any recommendations? What are the prices like?

Any info on this would be great. I'd hate having to put $300 just for a case.

Get a Pelican case. Waterproof and crushproof, with a lifetime warranty. Cheaper than those ridiculous metal cases, too.

They have carry-on sized too.

B&H has good prices, but I'd look around--there are several threads on DVXuser with suggestions.

Another option for hard cases are the STORM cases by HARDIGG, They aren't quite as bullet proof as PELICAN's, BUT they aren't as heavy either, especially in their bigger sizes, and the STORM cases can have their wheels removed for extra weight savings.
So either Pelican or STORM, depending on the application, and I agree, forget those metal cases.

A pelican case with wheels and pull-and-pluck foam is about $120. 1510 is model number of one that should be big enough (but better check that yourself!).
