Good God Almighty.

The next time someone asks the original question of which lighting kit to get--this should be the default answer.

surprised that they boast about the cd player but don't mention where you can jack in your mp3 player...And they only stock one can of raid in the pantry!?! tsk tsk tsk.

;)

Apparently this is Jason Tomaric's baby (at least in part). He did the 60 min film "Time and Again" and the associated how-to videos, sold as a DVD set a few years ago. I have it - it's quite good.

I wish something as complete as this was available in the NYC area. Perhaps it is...

??

Thats bloody wonderful!

Thats perfect for the Indie feature, or even short.... I bet its more cost effective than renting seperately, and in NYC you dont have to shut down a street with 5 vehicles....

Thats actually really cool. The G&E package is a bit wimpy, but ehhh... what are you gonna do... just rent a 2.5 HMI or a 4K hmi and a 6k GEnny....

Yeah, it seems pretty pricy.

$100/hr overtime after 12 hours.
MUST use their driver/best boy who must be payed THEIR rate
10 miles free, then .80 cents/mile after that
Must pay for extras and expendables (walkies, crafty, etc.)

Plus the rental rate.

driving one truck is cheaper on gas and "drivers" than a fleet of 3 pass vans and a grip truck plus a camper for makeup and office.

think about all the costs.

Is it 10Kw of power for each of the 4 generators or 10Kw total? Seems a bit weak if that's the total.
