Good camera bags?

I sold my old camera with it's bag since it was just too small for my DVX100b, so now my camera is homeless.

What are some good soft bags for the DVX?

There's a bag made by Ogio, called the Ty Evans Video Bag. I have one, and I really like it. It is a backpack with room for 2 cameras, and lots of compartments, also it has a laptop holder, and tripod straps.

If you're looking for both big and small cases then check out pelican. Im currently using the 1600 and it holds my dvx100b, tapes, rodentg-2, shock mount, xlr cables, remote, and battery. Check their website out and watch some of the stress test demos.

Note: All hard cases.

Just to add to above reply....

Go with a hard case! A camera of that price needs proper protection.

Well, depends on your needs, most DigiBetas, though very expensive, are carried around in softcases...
Hardcases are a must for shipping or when not being able to take the cam as carry-on on a flight, but if you go by car or just walk around, softcases are fine...

I love my LowePro Photo Trekker Classic. It's a Big Backpack for Photography equipment. But it has all kinds of storage and movable velcro parts inside so your camera is completely protected. I used it to ship camera, with no problems. Plus, being a backpack, I travel via airplane and no one knows just what I have in there and since it goes on my back I can still carry on carry on. Love this bag, check lowepro or any good photo place.

ive got a dakine sequence and im in love with it. its a snug fit.. only room for 1 dvx prob. maybe 2 and nothing else in it but im happy like that. open areas in bags just cause shifts to occor easier and your stuff to jumble around. in my bag i fit easily my dvx, FEWA fisheye, lens hood, capture cam with charger, dvx charger, spare batteries and i put a bunch of tapes and any other stuff like lens cleaning rags and so on in the waterproof seethrough pocket.

ontop of that stuff in the removable camera block, i usually put like a pair of extra gloves, a extra t-shirt in the top pouch and sunglasses, theres a waterbottle holder on one side thats nice and the other side has a 2 sided pocket.

Straps all over this bad boy. i prob dont use any of them correctly but theres so many who cares. i never need to worry bout not being able to fit 2 tripods i might be carrying plus i can strap a snowboard on the back with a shovel and put yet another board on the inside part against my back. plenty of padding to keep it all comfy too

ide def recomend the sequence if you only are shooting a single cam and carry the basics. the removable camera block is awesome so you dont need o lug everyting around if not needed and its a small enough backpack to not be too bulky like alot of the bags out there.

unlike the ty evans- its got much better zippers, good waterproofing to it, nice snug fit to my stuff rather then loose and jumbly, and its waay more comfortable...>WAAAY

I snowboard with my camera so its necisairy for me to have a smaller bag. also for size reference- my camera fits int eh bag snugly with the lens hood on as well as my century fisheye lens
