gone twice - episode one - shortfilm

i used the nikon d90 with the nikkor 50mm 1,4 d and for some shots i took the glidecam hd-1000. editing was made in after effects ;)
 
I enjoyed in very much, thank you.

Maybe a little too much desaturation for my taste.

The walking camera scenes were great with the 50mm. I know how much they usually shake when you try to walk with them.
 
wow, this was really impressive. How did you plan the shots out before hand? I love hte way each shot is setup, the cigar smoke, etc..

Did you create story boards first?

Can you describe your workflow a little more in detail?

thanks guys. in two weeks i will make the second (last) episode with some more information about the beginning and how it ends, actually i want to shoot the whole movie at once, but the actors haven't much time and they want to go on summer holidays... i'm so happy with the d90, it's such a cool cam, i love it :love4:

jon the most shots i make spontaneously on the location on that day we shot it without a storyboard. some shots i have made before when i have thought about the story. the foregound was to test the movie quality... sorry for my bad english :embarasse
 
Keep it up, if you dont mind taking a few pics of your lightiung setup when you film again, i would appreciate it.

i'm 18. i go still to secondary school. so far i make films just for fun in my freetime...
i superior to go afterwards to film school :happy:

i think you could lock the exposure and take it when its not so bright, take a tripod or something to stabilize and maybe you choose more shots with longer depth and closer shots. during editing i would setup the exposure and contrast and i would do some colour corrections to get a better match..

My friend just mentioned this video to me that i showed him a fwe months ago, we want to know when episode 2 is comming?
