This is Exciting- My name is Travis Cluff. I am an actor/stuntman and filmmaker. I recently got back into acting etc... after winning an episode of ABC's Wipeout (I was "Super Shorts" on 9/2/09)
I started writing screenplays and none of them fit in my $0 budget. Till I had the idea for "Gold Fools".
One mans attempt to solve all his problems goes awry when he and his two friends go on a Gold Mining tour in Sonora, CA and get caught between Gold Fever and something "out there, where the water runs real deep".
I project this film to be 1hr 15 minutes. I have already started shooting a section of the movie with the help of some DVX user pros.
I sent Action on Film Festival award winner Matt Sconce (writer/director/producer of Stricken) the script and got a call the next day. He believed in the script and wanted to be part of it and I'm glad he did because he bring so much more to it. Along with Matt we have Shane Foster who was DP on Finding Hope Now a big film in post production you can find on IMDB. Shane also did lighting on Stricken. DVXuser 2nd place WestFest winner Troy Ruff (By Hook or Crook) is also part of our amazing team of filmmakers.
With this allstar team and the great cast this movie is sure to be well done and very entertaining. I would love to hear from anyone who has suggestions to help. I'll keep this updated with pictures and behind the scenes stuff.
Let the Gold Fever get you and become a Gold Fool!
