Going to DVD - can i use 24p & 30p

Yes, different programs on a DVD can be either 24p or 60i/30p on the same disc.
im filming with the canon 60d....some of the footage is 24p and some will be 30p ....all footage will be HD 1920x1080
how would i combine the footage on the dvd? different chapters ( tracks ) ?

Is there a reason you're shooting mixed frame rates? If it's for one project, why not pick a frame rate and stay with it? If you're combining several projects onto a single DVD, that's a different story.
Yes, different tracks. Are these all supposed to play in sequence, or are they individual items that are selected in a menu? If they're to play in sequence, you need to add each as a track and then assemble a story in DVDSP.
The short answer is yes. However, FCP is going to want them both at the same rate once they're in the timeline. So, if you set up your FCP project for 24p and then add the 30p footage, FCP is going to want to make the 30p footage into 24p. You can only operate at one frame rate in the time line, and that is the frame rate that you'll export when you're done.

Or, if you don't want the complexity of a story, you can have the tracks play in sequence by just setting the END JUMP of each track appropriately.
Note to OP: "Tracks" and "chapters" are different... make sure you understand what each means in the context of DVDSP. Chapters are indexes into tracks, and all chapters in any given track have the same frame rate. Different tracks can have different frame rates.
