going to college

haha thanks for all of the god advice, and I am getting away from the long, lonely, and cold winters of Minnesota and heading south to University of Arizona

if you're going to arizona, i'm going to visit. their softball team looked amazing.

-Bring QUARTERS. a lot of quarters. you will need them.
-a can opener
-food you can cook in microwaves, or hot pot, which you should also bring.
-a water bubbler, if you can
-george foreman grill, if you can.
-condoms.
-open mind, you may come across a lot of new and different people
-leave high school behavior behind, there'll still be a ton of it there, whic gets annoying, but try not to help the cause.
-Don't be "that guy" when you're drunk, or sober for that matter
- your dvx100 and hide it well when not using it
- wait to buy books, you may not need them all and they're expensive
- a pocket tool
- computer
- lamp/desk light
- make as many friends as possible
- mini fridge
- beer (fill empty soda boxes with beer and smuggle it in that way, no one will notice on move in day)
- stereo
- flashlight
- other stuff i can't think of now

Wow, I actually read all of these.....These answers are probably as good as they get when it comes to the do's and don'ts of college life......

haha, I read a lot of those things and wish I had known some of these things earlier....But hey, life lessons....

You'll have a good time, you're surrounded by a lot of people that WANT to get an education (With the exception of a few), so everyone is in the same boat as you....Going into my third year now and loving every minute....Time flies though.......So enjoy it....

Just remember, NO REGRETS!.......

yeah ... if you can, make friends instantly because if its anything like UW (go badgers), you'll be deciding where you live next year as early as late oct-nov.
