Going Rate for used FS-100?

Anyone know what the going rate for a 4 moth old FS-100 is?
I want to sell mine and the price for a new one that s listed on the focus enhancement site is what I paid...
I know I will not get that, but everywhere I turn, potential buyers only want to pay 1/3 of the price...
Is that the going rate? from $1,700 down to $500 for a 4 month old FS-100 with 3.0 upgrade?
 
yeah, as soon as the 16 gig p2 cards came out, firestore prices plummeted! though i dont really understand this as at 100 gigs there are still some things the firestore does that p2 simply cant

i paid $1300 for mine a few months back and within days the going rate was $1100. welcome to the tech biz my friend!
 
$1000 is a good asking price. I think you can get that for it, although I dont know why you're selling it. Hopefully it has paid for itself for you. I personally dont like paying for used delicate technology unless I know the person, get to test it out, or it is backed up by a reputable company. One of the main reasons it loses value is the fact that it is presumed suspect.
