God watches HDTV!

You think that's bad?
We still don't have cable.

I'm probably the only guy I know with a 47" HD TV that has rabbit ears hooked up to it.
:)

All the local stations broadcast in HD though, and it looks great.

luis, have you tried hooking the cable up to your tv? i don't pay for cable either, but i get the local digital channels and tlc for free over the cable.

this was my timefest entry.....

I actually bought my HDTV before I even had tv. I moved into a condo and it took about 10 weeks to get the HOA to agree to a dish spot. Actually, they never did. They ignored my calls and letters. I eventually just got sick of viewing my TV as an art installation in the middle of my living room. So, I just told the installer to do whatever it takes.

I actually have to have the NFL package. DIRECTV charges almost $300 bucks for this service. I feel like I've had prison love.

Rawfa Im with you on this one. Got the new 50" bravia about two months ago when I came back to Aus. Unbelievable picture. Great to view clips on. This is one area Sony is clearly in the lead, they went LCD for large HDTVs whilst others seem to have stuck with plasma. Even with the afternoon sun streaming through the window and on to the tv the picture is perfect with 0 glare.

I have to say that due to the way that Sony does things I'm always suspicious when they put out a product that everybody calls "great", but when I got to the store there was like 30 LCDs all next to each other and you could CLEARLY see that the bravias were the excalibour out of the bunch. Yesterday I've actually called Sony to return my just bought 40 inch...for a 46 inch :D It's out of the budget I was aiming for but it's something I just know I'll keep it for a LONG time before I go looking for a new one...plus I was like "I've spent much more than that on video equipment...why am I so reluctant on spending this much on such an amazing product that I will use everyday". I really don't regret it.

HD television is for now, just a dream.

When I get the chance I tiptoe over to my friends, plant myself in his couch and watch movies, all the while being a general mooch and annoyance. I think I could probbably convince him to go in on a TV with me at this point.

I bought a nice 1080p, 40" Samsung LCD TV a couple weeks ago and I LOVE it. Absolutely fantastic and Blu-Rays look crisp and clear. Can't say enough good things about this TV - highly recommended.

Not at all, I always use a respirator if I have to work back there.
That area is scary, the dust bunnys getting pretty big (you saw the ears). Several hungry and desperate packs living there.

Usualy I don`t invade that territory if I don´t have to.
