Our film, "God and Country" is a WWII epic that tells the story of three Americans who attempt to prevent the Germans from using chemical warfare against their allies in Britain.
This film was originally created as a concept for a DVXUser contest several years ago. The final 45-minute runtime was about 40-minutes too long and it was finished about two years after the festival ended. :cheesy: But, it ended up being a great experience and we have had a good run submitting it to festivals.
Recently, The Military Channel agreed to air it as part of a series for Veteran's Day. It aired once in November and is airing again Decemeber 4th (tonight) at 9pm EST.
If you get the chance to watch and give feedback I'd greatly appreciate it!
Because this was essentially a low/no budget film some of the military aspects (uniforms, etc.) are not entirely accurate. But hopefully the story comes through in spite of those shortcomings.
