Re: GO - Spin Dizzy

It looks really nice. Well lit and good positioning. Clever with the movement back and forth between the room and the concert. Was that a set built next to the stage, or just a trick with editing. Seemed like it might have been in the same locale when the jacket was thrown. But maybe that's just a clever trick. Whatever the case, bravo!

For critiques, I would say that I didn't quite get the scenes with the girl and the angry guy. Was that her husband or her father or just someone who hates the band? Maybe it's because they seemed close in age.

The other big thing I saw was that the audience was a bit weak at moments. Just seemed to be going through the motions. Making extras perform is a difficult task, and there are some scenes in there where there's a definite energy (where they're jumping up and down because a fan is on stage with the band), but it's lacking in a lot of the close-ups. Same thing, I'd say, with the girl and the guy in the bedroom. Just couldn't buy into them, but again, that might be the age thing. I think some cuts away from the small portions where the video loses some steam, and into something stronger, might help it reach perfection.

Hope any of that helps! Looked very good!

Re: GO - Spin Dizzy

I liked this video, good job.

I especially liked the transitions between the girl's bedroom and the show. Nice touch.

The girl's bedroom was disturbingly girlie... and the girl reminded me of Jennifer Connelly, which derailed me a bit, sorry. :D

The audience members looked a little bit staged, and a little too well-groomed for the band, but maybe this is aimed at the Avril-age audience, so that's pobably fine.

I found it distracting that the lead singer spent all his time looking at the camera. Doing that brought to mind that the shoot was staged, but probably most viewers won't even notice.

Overall, really nice work. My criticisms here are nitpicks, don't sweat 'em.
