glitchy artifact frame

Every once in a while I get a glitchy artifact looking frame. It is always just one frame. Has anyone experienced this?

In the original footage? Or after it's been transferred to a computer?

I noticed it in FCP once it has been transferred to ProRes at 1080 23.976fps. Just regular ProRes not (HQ). I haven't noticed it on the camera but it is always just one frame and the glitchy frame is usually pretty subtle I dont think I would notice it through the viewfinder or the LCD on the camera. I havent been able to re-transfer the bad frames to see if it does it again since I am in the midst of a pretty intense project for work. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and knew if it was an SD card problem, an FCP problem or an HMC150 problem?

It is a glitch that happens on the Mac when copying large fat32 data volumes. It has nothing to do with your camera or your card. I bet you fifty bucks that if you noticed a glitched frame, and then went back to the card and played that original footage, there would be no glitch at all. And if you copied the footage onto the computer again, there would be no glitch (or, if there was, it wouldn't be in the same place. )

This is why I always recommend using a data copy program that does a byte-by-byte verification on every file it copies. It would prevent you from ever getting bitten by this bug.

Same thing here, just one frame. It is like a pink horizontal line that moves to the left in the picture. It is also in the original file on the SD card.

I am using a macbook pro with FCP. I always stick the SD card in the built in SD port of the macbook pro open up FCP and use the FCP log and transfer window to "archive to folder". Then I transcode from that folder FCP archived it to. Would this not be "a data copy program that does a byte-by-byte verification"? If not what would you recommend using? I shoot hours and hours worth of footage a week so it is hard for me to leave the footage on the card until I check every frame.
