Which of the two would be a better choice. Looking for 3ft long. I need it to handle cameras up to 10 pounds plus tripod head. Which is more practicle with better results. Watching some youtube videos the glidetrack seems to produce some rubbing noise!
The Glidetrack only makes lots of noise when the bearings aren't preperly aligned.
The Dual Dolly is cheap, and I've seen posts recently that point out it tends to sag/bend if it's center-mounted on a tripod. The Glidetrack rail won't bend at all. You can, of course, build your own with the same parts that Glidetrack uses. Costs about $200.
