Anyone experienced with Glidecams? I'm looking at getting one for my Panasonic AG-AC90 which weighs about 4 lbs with the battery and sd card in it. The only other accessories I will have are a Rode mic and ND filter (an extra 6 ounces maybe). he Glidecam HD 2000 is for cams 2-6 lbs and the HD4000 is for cams 4-10. I'm wondering if i should use the HD4000 or would the HD2000 work out good? Thanks

Yes. I have both. I can only use my 90 with my HD 4000 and not my HD 2000. Why? The 2000 has to be extended way to long for the 3 second drop. Also, I highly recommend a wide angle lens for the 90. The HD 4000 also is very stable. I would also recommend the GLIDECAM arm brace.

Thanks for the tip, what type of wide angle lens do you recommend for it?

If i would use a Wide Angle Lens like this and also for example the Rode NTG-2 Mic (Shotgun) with Dead Cat mounted on top of the cam:

Would i see the Mic in the image area because of Wide Angle ?
