My fellow AF100 shooters,
I am trying to take a buying decision. Please let me know your experiences/thoughts about what would work best with AF100 - Glidecam HD2000 or HD4000 or Blackbird.
Let me know if anyone has one used and would like to part with.
I went with a complete Glidecam X-10 system (which includes the HD4000). You'll be able to shoot much longer without arm & back pain.
Very happy with the system, easy to balance, vest is comfortable, work good with practice, practice, practice.
I got a Glidecam HD2000 for my DSLR. Since then, I got an FS700 and the HD2000 works well for it and it's about 1 1/2 lbs over the weight limit, but I'm getting the 7Q recorder for it and then it will be way over the weight limit. If I could go back, I would have got the HD4000 because it's more future proof for bigger cameras.
Thanks for your responses. Did not do enough research on the topic, there was an old thread on the site. I have decided to go with HD4000. Hope it will turn out to be a good decision.
