Glidecam HD2000 on a Sigma 30mm + 7D?

So I was thinking about it,

For you Glidecam users, with a 7D and a Sigma 30mm would it be usable? I know a lot of people tend to use wide-angle lenses on it to reduce the amount of jitterness and to keep more things in focus. How would this work with this lens?

Has anyone used a Glidecam in this situation?
 
works fine...I use my hd2000 with a nikon + 35mm all the time. focusing is an issue and you cant really change it while shooting or you'll disturb the balance... make sure to dial in the focus distance and stick to it.
