Don't confuse the Body pod for the smooth-shooter. The body pod has three intended purposes:
1. To more easily transport the glidecam from location to location between shots
2. To rest between shots
3. To allow for simple pan, crane and dolly camera moves instead of going handheld
It will not remove bounce or stabilize shots like the smooth shooter but will take the pressure off of your wrist and forearm for handheld moves.
