Re: glidecam 2000 pro for sale -mint

this reply for the most part, was copied directly from another responses for another peopple interested, but should answer the ?:

the 2000 pro is actually really good . its really capeable of doing the exact same job as any other vested sytem,if the operator is well practised. i used it for every shot in that commercial thing. the still and moving. the gimbal is awsome. for the dvx it really rocks. im only selling it, cause im planning on having to get a vested system cause the camera operator for my new feature cant physically hold the dvx and glidecam (i know .. what a weakling,.. but its a girl) but for the feature i also want to shoot pretty much all off a steadicam so that i dont lose time setting up a tripod all the time. so the 2000 would be to much to hold all day unless i got the body pod or somthing. but then your height is set at a constant, so i figuerd ill just break down and get a vest..not sure which one yet.. possibly a v-8 but i've never been dissatisfied with the 2000 at all. i would definitely recommend it as a good purchase. i really wanted (and still want to) to keep mine and get the vest system too, so that i could rock out nice shots when i didnt need a vest system, and be less conspicuos, and travel easier, and all the other obvious advantages of not having to carry a full system around, but i figure ill make a small handle that i can just slip the sled from the vest sytem into and use it handheld.

anyhow.. the item has been sold already. i am fedex'ing it out today.
