smooooooth! How long did it take you to balance that thang? And how long did it take to get a smooth take? Was that your first take, or did you practice a bit and send your best footage?
To get a smooth take you just need practice and practice the more the better I can see big improvements on my takes. I took these shots within 3min so I can not say theese are my best takes just wanted to send an example out here. Maybe I will add more later.
I have the 4000 and it is true... this thing takes a lot of practice to master, not to mention good muscle... Tomas already did, cool and smooth footage!!! For those interested on the Glidecam I'd recommend to stick with the 2000 and save ~$100 bucks... in my opinion the 2000 handles as good as the 4000 model... Wish I had that advise before buying :-/
Good advice, Gualbert, but if you are planning on adding things to your camera like a matte box, etc., etc. then you should consider the 4000....but if not, the 2000 will be more than fine.
hey tomas, i have the same lamp. my wife is danish so skandinavian design is must
a couple of times the cam seemed to swing a little left to right, but for the pricetag (compared to others) i think i have to get one too for the occasional shot....
