Glidcam test d90

Interesting... I think you could balance it a little better (lots of sway)...and for me, the bulk of it was out of focus. Those Glidecams take practice. Still nice job. Keep shooting!

ZazaCast, never judge a work of art by its defects, haha...

Sorry, couldn't resist! I know you didn't, but almost...

yes the glidecam is very heavy to keep balanced and calm. its the first time i used one. i have to spend a lot of time to practice...

Wiseguy. :nads:

Just constructive criticism, which helps us to be better filmmakers. No one will learn if all they hear is 'great job', 'looks good', 'cool video'. I believe he posted the link for input.

They are tricky and getting it balanced properly it key. I just got a Glidecam X-10 rig and am working with it everyday. It is an art. I have a new respect for all the steadicam operators out there....it was all I could do to operate the rig for 40 minutes at a time before needing to rest (lots of stress on the back).

Get that puppy balanced & practice....that's what I'm doing!

Sorry ZaZaCast, I shouldn't have written that. It was pretty pointless. I like your "never judge a work of art by its defects" statement. I totally agree, although it can be hard not to turn into a hypocrite...
