[FS: General] GL Optics / Tokina 11-16mm CINE-MOD PL mount lens

[george su]

SOLD!!!!

I'm selling my glcinemod.com lens conversion of the Tokina 11-16mm. This is a conversion from the canon ef version, so focus rotates in canon direction. Stainless steel PL mount, gears on zoom, focus, and iris. comes with rubber 95mm front cap and rear PL mount cap. Not nearly as nice as the Duclos version (but of course, nothing is!), but still a nice cine rehousing.
Selling, because I'm saving up for RPPs .

asking $2500 obo.

thanks!

Hi!
"Not nearly as nice as the Duclos version" Do you mean mechanically? Please describe!

I'd love to hear more about the lens, and how it compares to the Duclos. Having the focus markings on the barrel certainly seems like an improvement.

yes, I mean mechanically, the Duclos is better. That doesn't mean that this one isn't good, though. I've been using it on my red scarlet, and it works well. the gears are all professional, the addition of manual iris ring is
extremely helpful. if you havent used the duclos, don't want to wait for the queue, or can't afford the duclos, the GL version is a great option.
