:crybaby:A lot of people panned this, and said it was a failed attempt at a Risky Business for the new gen...but eff all...I LOVE THIS MOVIE!

Something about the onscreen charisma of Hirsh and Elisha Cuthbert, or maybe just my lucid dreams of said vixen that makes this movie just so appealing.

Mix it with a great (EFFING GREAT) soundtrack...Just good ole' fashined popcorn fanfare.

Like The Notebook, it's one of those movie that makes you believe that there is someone for everyone and she's/he's out there waiting.:crybaby:

I started out liking it. Thought the kids were good and the interaction with the woman was good.

But by the end all I could think was how sad things have gotten...

I too was surprised by this movie. I don't think it's great or anything, but it was at least attempting to be something other than a typical teen movie. And Timothy Olyphant was brilliant in his small sleazy role.

I think this is what I like most about this film. She's very hot, and a succesful porn star. She gives it all up just to be with this average guy. You're in his shoes and so you feel special.

HOWEVER, I felt this film really lacked with Cuthbert's character. I don't think it was her fault, more the fault of the director and writer. She was very basic, and the only thing about her character, aside from being a porn star, was that she could draw. Whoopdidoo. They needed to breath more life into her character rather than being this cookie cut hot girl that will do anything for this guy and is perfect in everyway.
