Ill have about $600 - $700 to spend on accessories for my dvx100.

I am for sure wanting to purchase a 35mm adapter, but not sure which kind to get. $600 - $700 is not a lot, if I purchased the M2 id have to spend $600.

I could possibly get a Letus for $250, and spend the rest on microphone and lighting. Would this be a better idea?

Is M2 worth buying over all those stuff?

Actually, if you buy an M2 you have to spend close to a thousand bucks. $600 only gets you the unit without the rails or achromat. And factor in another $500 for a monitor to flip the image. If you really want to get an adapter, get the Letus Flip Enhanced since it'll flip the image without an adapter.
 
what is the diff between m2 and letus35?.............i'm still learning about 35mm adaptors
 
Main difference is that the Letus35FE flips the image for you. M2 will show the scene upside down in your LCD. There's other factors like light loss and sharpness etc. but that's up to you to decide which works better for you.
